The founder of NURDO, Nuri Kaluman, was born in the city of Kahramanmaraş, the homeland of traditional Turkish ice cream. He developed a passion for ice cream and desserts from a young age and started working as an apprentice in Selçuk, İzmir, the heart of tourism, in 1992. In 1996, he continued his career as a master in the districts of Marmaris, Bodrum, and Fethiye in Muğla. In 2002, he opened his own business with his extensive experience and knowledge. For years, he has invested in various cities and districts in Turkey and operates in various sales points and cafes. In 2014, NURDO established its headquarters in the Mediterranean pearl, Kaş district of Antalya, and embarked on a new venture to present Turkish flavors to its customers in a corporate manner. Over the years, it has made new investments in production, established partnerships, and distribution networks, and as of 2021, it has expanded abroad to promote traditional Turkish ice cream and desserts to the world.
NURDO continues to grow and develop by opening branches and sales points in countries such as Montenegro, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, and Albania. While working to pass down the taste of hand-made Kahramanmaraş ice cream and Turkish desserts from the Ottoman era to future generations and create employment opportunities, it aims to become a beloved ice cream and dessert brand in Turkey and many other countries.
